Halkidiki or Chalkidiki is immediately recognizable on the map of Greece because of its shape that resembles 3 elongated fingers. Also known as Halkidiki this part of Greece is famous for its beautiful beaches covered in white sand that can be easily reached and often not very crowded. Every “finger” has its own name. The first one is called Kassandra, the second Sithonia and the third Monte Athos.
Like in most parts of Greece there is also a small island nearby called Ammouliani, located netween Sithonia and Mount Athos. A wonderful tiny island with golden sand and crystal clear waters. Famous for its white beaches it has grown a lot in the last few years as many tourists have starting visiting this part of Greece to admire the truly amazing beaches and beauties of this part of Greece.
